PODCAST:

TRANSCRIPT:

Hello everyone, this is Francis Douglas, and I would like to welcome you to the final installment broadcast of the America 250 Semiquincentennial Bible Celebration, here, at celebratethebible250.com

With this episode, I will begin to dismantle the web site, as I plan on my next project — which is called: The Bible Through Time.

For this new project I will be opening a new web site, and I would like to give the web address to you now: It is thebiblethroughtime.com

The reason I wanted to give it to you now, is that in a short amount of time, the celebratethebible250 web site will no long be online.

From the very beginning, it was planned to end the web site after July 4, 2026.

There are approximately 70 posts here, but I should mention that this is only approved for your own personal usage. You may not use any of my images, audio files, or texts . I say this because I have had that happen in the past with other web projects.

It has been an honor sharing my bible history collection with you, and I hope that you have enjoyed visiting. Perhaps you might have learned something that you didn’t know before. I know that I did when researching and writing each post.

Transitioning from Celebration to Innovation:

I intend to take a break for a few weeks here at the New Jersey shore area, and then begin to put the new web site together.

The new site will be centered around Christian based visual arts, science, and communication technologies, using my show-and-tell format — from ancient cuneiform tablets to futuristic laser-based communications. It will include 3D laser holograms, 19th century stereoview cards, the world’s smallest handwriting and lord’s prayers, plus microscopic and nano scripture, lenticulars, view-master, rare bible leaves, manuscripts, and works of art.

And more.

No expense has been spared to bring you “The Greatest Show and Tell this side of Heaven“.

So, head on over to thebiblethroughtime.com and bookmark the web site.

Eventually, I will have my own email subscriber service in place, so please look for that once things are up and running.

The Semiquincentennial celebrations are most likely over by the time you read this (or listen to it if by podcast). Through these post, I hope you were able to get a sense of how the Bible played a role in the founding of the United States of America.

So, for celebratethebible250, this is Francis Douglas. Signing off for the last time, saying God Bless You, and God Bless the United States of America.
